Improvising with the Ionian mode (AKA Major scale). I am presenting you with some more creative ideas that will hopefully break up the sound for you a little bit.

This lesson is based on the Ionian mode. We analyze it and learn how to identify it. Also, it will be used as a tool for a brief solo and harmonic approach!

A solo lesson with some influences of John Petrucci. We'll work aspects like rhythm, scale uses, and different techniques such as legato, alternate picking, Vibrato, Slides harmonics and arpeggios.

Inspired by bands like Extreme, GN'R, Jane's addiction and Aerosmith. The solo is a funky rock solo which includes lick in the style of Nuno Bettencourt, Dave Navarro and Slash.

The key of F is not used as often for guitar because it has a lot of barre chords and not a lot of ringing open string ones. It can be a difficult key for beginners uncomfortable with barre chords.

Learning scale boxes can be very boring and that's why I created this lesson for all those who want to learn scale boxes and want to do it having fun and practicing not only boxes but also licks. Alternate picking, some string skipping, licks built of 6-tuplets.

In this lesson we will study an improvisation that will use the Phrygian mode, and the Ionian mode (aka Major scale). The key is in G and the track modulates from G Phrygian to G major. The following licks are not very technical, but are there to show you how to build musical ideas that are built around the chords.

Harmonize any note of the arpeggio with triads. The idea is that you can play a melody harmonize at the same time.
